Alternative jobs

The other day my friend went on a date with a penguin keeper from the zoo, and it got me thinking - there are some properly random, awesome jobs out there. A few I've also come across are a man who made art in the eye of a needle (literally, not in some sort of existential way), and the woman who demonstrates (using surgical gloves, and in a very non-erotic manner) how sex toys are used on LoveHoney. Weirdly, there are also the jobs that don't seem odd til you think about them - like being a tube driver, where you spend most of the day in darkness, sometimes hundreds of metres under the ground. I don't know where you'd go to find jobs like this, but adizar.co.uk is probably a great place to start, they've got loads of jobs in a pretty wide range of fields, so there's something for everyone!

Are these expensive?

I'm looking to at water dispensers for home because I drink a lot of pure water and cordials, but the water from my taps is really scaly!

I'm trying to see if there are decent priced ones that actually plumb into the wall and aren't too expensive to maintain, replace the filters, and so on.

It'd be great to get one that does hot water too, but I worry that if it has instant hot water that it then has to be constantly heating up water and keeping it hot, and that'll probably boost my energy bills.

Playboy Water Dispenser

I've seen the bibo water cooler online and it looks really good, it does hot and cold water instantly but I think it's better suited to an office maybe, I don't know. It doesn't have any prices on the website so I might contact them and a few others I've seen.

Why Did I Not Know About This?

I've just discovered this amazing program that was on in 1999-2000 called 'Freaks and Geeks' and it has some of my favourite people in it, I can't believe I didn't discover it sooner!

It's about two different groups of teenagers dealing with high school, freaks and geeks I'm assuming. What's amazing is that most of the actors in it are really famous now, such as James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel and Linda Cardellini.

It's funny because a lot of them have starred in films together since, such as James Franco and Seth Rogen in Pineapple Express, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel in films like Knocked Up.

I'm currently downloading the whole season, although I'm sad that there's only one, from clips and gifs I've seen around the web it looks like it'll probably be just my kind of thing!

A new designer worth trying

Have you ever heard of Huntingdon & Co? It is a new designer which has launches exclusively at the clothes shop USC.

I think it is one that is going to really take off. The brand takes it inspiration from the fashionable beaches of California. However the brand is British and goes for the preppy look.

It has lots of causal pieces and laid-back items which are perfect for your summer holiday this year or if you are not lucky enough to be going away then it is still perfect for the British beaches!

They make some really nice hoodies, however they aren't very useful in summer! So one of my favourite summer pieces are these:

They are £20 with a wedge heel. They are perfect for the evening with a dress and for the day if you want to rock the heels in your bikini!

I am sure this brand is going to really take off soon!

Jason Manford and Free Speech

Jason Manford has reached a completely different level of fame after attacking the BBC bosses. "Help for Heroes" is a charity event organized for injured soldiers, and Jason blasted the Government for leaving such an issue to charity.
While performing at the event, Jason said something about the government, which was edited out of his final show. He mentioned about the edit on twitter, and this is what he said "Can't believe some s***house edited out the bit about the Government. Free Speech my arse."
This little comment started a war between the stand-up comedian and Mathew Hulbert (Liberal Democratic Party member)
The entire tweet between the two was taken up by the media and reported on various websites. Apparently, Mr. Hulbert didn't realize that tweets are visible to everyone. That must have been embarrassing!
